Edinburgh :Multi-Sensory Learning & Creativity Project - RUDOLF STEINER & BALGREEN PRIMARY

What is this?

This project consisted of a partnership between the Edinburgh Rudolf Steiner School and Balgreen Primary School. It explored how elements from the Steiner approach to multi-sensory learning and creativity could be integrated into a mainstream curriculum and aimed to address and support the different learning styles and needs of pupils. It worked specifically to develop the integration of art and music within the primary curriculum together with introducing and implementing a programme of rhythmic work designed to encourage healthy physical and cognitive development in pupils of all abilities. Elements of the project were recorded on video which can be used as training material in a wider context.

FLaT involvement?
