Two year project in which proven effective secondary teachers are appointed and given time to coach and mentor colleagues in approaches to effective learning and teaching while undertaking related professional enquiry modules which could potentially be accreditable to the Chartered Teacher qualification.

Project to artistically improve the interior and exterior design of a new primary school being built in 2005 and 2006. The education authority will partner the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation to develop the first MUS-e project in Scotland that builds partnerships across Europe.

Initiative to create curriculum materials that unite the areas of citizenship, creativity and enterprise. Young people will be encouraged to develop their views to take positive risks in tackling their own employability and employment.

Project to support disaffected young people in secondary schools in East Renfrewshire. Spark of Genius (Training) Limited will work with schools to educate young people of school leaving age, in school and in the community.
Glasgow : Arts and Minds - St Mungo's Learning Community
Project will establish programmes to demonstrate the scope of music to improve listening, language and literacy skills, to promote students' creativity and shared enterprise, and to raise and sustain aspirations for achievement and attainment within a Learning Community.

Staff development initiative exploring the opportunities in Education for Work to create a rationale/narrative for lifelong learning from pre-school onwards.
Dumfries and Galloway: Curriculum Flexibility Project
5 year programme of curricular change designed to provide greateer flexibility and more appropriate learning experiences for an increasingly diverse pupil population.
West Dunbartonshire : Dynamic Futures Programme
Project focusing on pupils in P7 who have been identified as having problems with emotional literacy. Will assist with the transition to S1 and supporting them through S1 into S2.
Inverclyde : Enterprise Centre Project
Creation of an school enterprise centre to provide a more flexible work-place style environment in which lower achieving students may learn. This will also being used as a community resource.
Glasgow : Learning Communities Pilot
Evaluation of a project which looked at the impact of developing a collaborative learning group involving pre-school centres, schools and support agencies in east end of Glasgow.
